This core science class is a conceptual approach to physical science.  Students will understand concepts in physics,  earth science and astronomy.

Course Outline:

Mechanics--motion, forces, momentum, energy, gravity.

Energy--heat, electricity, magnetism, waves, sound.

Earth science--rocks, minerals, geologic time, earth’s structure, weather.

Astronomy--solar system, stars, galaxies.
